Do PickleMeNot shirts run true to size?
It depends. This unisex tee runs true to size for men, but women typically find it runs a bit loose. For a regular, fitted look, we recommend women size down.

Is the fabric soft, or does it feel like a typical cotton t-shirt?
It's noticeably softer than a standard cotton tee. The Gildan Softstyle® fabric is lightweight (4.5 oz/yd²) ring-spun cotton, which produces a smoother, more refined feel than regular cotton — comfortable enough to wear all day on or off the court.

Will the shirt hold its shape after washing?
Yes. The collar is ribbed knit for elasticity so it won't stretch out, and the shoulders are reinforced with twill tape to prevent stretching at the seams. There are no side seams, which also helps it keep a smooth, consistent shape wash after wash.

Is PickleMeNot apparel 100% cotton?
Our solid-color tees are 100% ring-spun US cotton. Heather, Sport Grey, and Graphite Heather colors are cotton-poly blends (ranging from 35% to 90% cotton) for added durability — so if 100% cotton matters to you, choose a solid color.

Why does 100% cotton matter for pickleball, especially for players 55+?
For recreational and social play, the feel and hygiene of a garment often matter more than high-tech athletic performance — and that's where cotton has real advantages. Skin becomes thinner, drier, and more sensitive with age, and cotton is naturally soft and hypoallergenic, which reduces chafing and irritation compared to petroleum-based synthetics during the repetitive swinging motions on the court. Cotton also resists the odor-causing bacteria that thrive in synthetic fibers, so it stays fresher over time without needing specialized sports detergent. And for casual games or social open play, cotton breathes naturally, giving you a familiar, cool feel without the clingy, slippery texture of high-performance synthetics.

Does cotton have any downsides compared to synthetic athletic fabric?
Yes, honestly — cotton isn't built to wick away heavy sweat. It absorbs moisture rather than pulling it from the skin, so during a long, intense match or in high humidity, a cotton tee can get damp and feel heavier. Synthetics dry up to three times faster and help regulate body temperature during hard exertion. If you're playing high-intensity, tournament-level pickleball in the heat, a synthetic performance fabric will outperform cotton. But for social play — which is most pickleball — the softness, breathability, and skin comfort of cotton usually wins out, especially for players 55 and up.

Is the fabric safe and ethically made?
Yes. Our cotton is grown and harvested in the US through the US Cotton Trust Protocol, which ensures ethical and sustainable production. The blank tees are also OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified for safety and quality.

Care Instructions

How do I wash my PickleMeNot shirt so it lasts?
Wash and dry inside out, on a low/cold temperature (max 30°C/90°F) with similar colors, using a gentle detergent. Avoid high heat and excessive spin cycles. Air dry when possible; if tumble drying, avoid heavy items like towels or jackets in the same load. Iron inside out on low heat if needed.

Will the print crack or fade?
Following the wash instructions above — inside out, cold water, low heat — is the biggest factor in keeping the design looking fresh. Avoiding high heat in both the wash and dryer is the single most important step.

How fast will my order ship?
Orders typically ship within 3 days of purchase, then take 2-5 days to arrive once shipped.

Is shipping free?
Yes, on orders over $50. Shipping rates on smaller orders are weight-based.

What's your return policy?
Our goal is your full satisfaction. Because these are made-to-order items, they're typically non-returnable — but if something arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you're eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. The item must be unused and in its original condition.
